What We Can Learn From How Doctors Choose to Die

 It fascinating that our medical system is designed to prolong life at all cost, yet the very people responsible for doing this TO US are the ones who decide not to allow it for themselves. Their reasons might be many, including;

  • fear of litigation,
  • pressure from the patients' family,
  • operating on "auto-pilot",
  •  or even flat out desires for more revenue.

Regardless, if this report is true, we should pay attention and learn something important from it. We can learn that when death is imminent, prolonging life with medical intervention may not be appropriate. It might even be wrong.

Please, think about it.
